Owner Biography

My name Marie Esther Teme. I’m originally from Cameroon in Central Africa.

Marie has shown her outstanding performance not as a successful young entrepreneur, but also with her involvement in the community.

In 2021 , she was recognized Vermont Rising Star  Award class of 2021, Emerging Leader of Year 2020 by the eWomenNetwork.  The Emerging Leader award is given to a young woman.  Marie is also serving as a Board Member at Mercy Connections,  a non profit that is dear in her heart.

Before coming to the US, Marie earned a Bachelor in Bilingual Studies (in English and French) in Cameroon, and an MBA in International Management in Senegal which included an internship in South Korea. She  graduated in January 2018. Later that same year She  became a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) by Project Management Institute (PMI). As she was pursuing her  MBA, Marie  worked for a year as a preschool  teacher for children aged 4-6 and the following year she was hired as   educational manager in a school for children up to 6 years old and vocational programming for children up to 12. Marie fell in love with preschool teaching and she wrote her thesis on Multiculturalism in preschool, the skills that a teacher must have in such an environment apart from teaching skills.

Marie  has been living in the United States since May 2018 and has always lived in Vermont. A little story about her coming to Vermont.

She  had the option to choose between three states and was supposed to have a first, second and third choice. It’s funny, Vermont was her  first, second, and third choice. She didn’t know anything about Vermont but her  intuition was telling her that it was the place to go to. She followed her  intuition. Today she thinks she made a smart choice. She  likes Vermont. Marie has made great relationships here; better than she could ever have imagined. In Vermont, Marie has made very good friends. They started as clients, then friends and now they are Marie’s family. she has a family and they consider her a part of them. I’m very grateful for that.

Green Vision Cleansing was  registered in December 2019. Marie like her  job. Marie likes serving others – that’s why she  decided to become an entrepreneur. The most important part of Marie’s  business is the people. Green Vision Cleansing  PPP-oriented model (People, Planet, and Profit). Because I care about people’s well- being first. First my employees second my clients.  Customers' satisfaction is her priority. . For that reason, I add some extra attention to my cleaning – like flowers and a handwritten note to say thank you.

One of Marie’s motivations in life is the passion  to help people that are socially disadvantaged, especially orphans. Her mother passed away when she  was four years old and I did not know my father until she was 20. she has had a pretty rough life but that life has built her  character. Marie believes we can do or become everything we want if we are determined. With or without parents. No matter how disadvantaged we are. Everything is possible. That’s the message she wants to give to everybody who thinks life hasn’t been fair for them. She would like to build an orphanage with a school in Cameroon to help orphan children  get the education and start their businesses.
